Ingredients: |

Serves up to 10, depending on size of cake plate and number of levels.
One box of square shaped Maria cookies or wafers, sweet wine; 1 stick of
butter; 6 egg yolks; 6 Tb. sugar; marmalade- peach, orange, or strawberry;
chocolate pudding, prepared; whipped cream, prepared; sliced fruit-
strawberry and kiwi. A cake platter. |

Preparation: |

In a shallow plate, place a glass of sweet wine and a few tablespoons of
water. Dip the cookies quickly in the wine and place them on a cake
platter. Place the cookies side by side to form the base of the
cake. Beat the egg, butter, and sugar together to form "frosting."
Cover the cookies with the mixture. Dip more cookies in the wine
quickly, and place on top of the "frosting." Repeat the process with
a level of pudding, then cookies, then marmalade, then cookies. You
can make as many levels as you want. Top the cake with whipped cream
and decorate with the sliced fruit. |
